Market Watch - Calvin Trades

FFPC League

I traded Calvin Johnson and the 1.9
I received Mike Evans

As good as Calvin is, it is time to get younger if you can get close to elite value for him if you can afford the production hit. In this particular league, Calvin would have been my WR5 for Dynasty purposes, so I could afford to hit the reset button at that position. This is about as little as you would want to get back for Calvin.

DFWC League

I traded Calvin Johnson
I received the 1.1 and 2.1

See above. Calvin was arguably my WR6 in this league for Dynasty purposes so again I could afford to trade him for the younger model.

FFPC League

Team A traded Calvin Johnson
Team B traded 1.7, 1.12, Ladarius Green and Knile Davis

This is underselling Calvin by a bit. I would want to get at least one prime player or pick (top 5 minimum) and something before letting go.

DFWC League

Team A traded Calvin Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald
Team B traded Kelvin Benjamin, 1.12, 2.11 and 2016 1st

This seems like a pretty good value for Megatron.

12-Team PPR

Team A traded Calvin Johnson plus Donte Moncrief
Team B traded Julio Jones

This is so 2013.

Market Watch - Odell Beckham

Breaking News (well, not so breaking). After just 12 games and a few offseason months, Odell Beckham may already be the single most valuable player in Dynasty today, and I've seen it first hand. I've offered Dez Bryant straight up for Beckham in one league and AJ Green straight up for him in another, and was shot down on both occasions. Suffice it to say, I think he is the real deal and willing to trade elite level value for him (as elite as it gets). Unfortunately, that has not been enough to get a deal done.

Do I think he is better than AJ Green and Dez Bryant right now? No. But the significant age difference tips the scales to Beckham ever so slightly.
